Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking products to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Packaging: Properly label, sort, and package items for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain precise record-keeping.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
