Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated sorting systems
- Execute precise inventory management protocols including cycle counts and quality control checks
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading of freight trucks with zero tolerance for errors
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and productivity
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
- Lead safety briefings and mentor new team members during overnight shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience with overnight shift background
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure environments
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipping documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as operational needs require
