Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) for refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in confined cold environments
- Inspect and document product integrity using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in wet/slippery conditions
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces per USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in subzero temperatures
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts (including weekends)
