Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies to shift supervisor
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP standards in all operations
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets
- Participate in regular safety training and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends as needed
