Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, and Pallet Jack) to safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify and inspect cargo for damage, ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counting and stock organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class 1, 3, or 4) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory tracking and paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
