Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of products for distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
