Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by physically counting stock and logging discrepancies in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping and receiving schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL not required, but valid forklift license is mandatory).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
