Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage and production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock checks, and maintaining accurate inventory records using RF scanners.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to strict quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and paperwork related to stock movements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
