Responsibilities
- Operate electric and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision and speed.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe working order.
- Load and unload trailers and shipping containers in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and accurate inventory counts.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse operations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order accuracy.
