Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks as required.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and maintaining organized stockpiles.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
