Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to move, locate, and relocate stock within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately to maintenance.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and railcars efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
