Responsibilities
- Utilize handheld RF scanners to pick merchandise from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Verify that the correct items are selected and inspect for quality assurance before packing.
- Package items securely using boxes, bubble wrap, and tape to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and affix postage as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while operating warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for order accuracy.
- Willingness to learn how to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
