Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP software.
- Organize, label, and stock merchandise in designated areas to ensure efficient retrieval and storage.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks as needed.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in warehouse or inventory management is preferred.
- Proficient in using computer systems, specifically inventory management software or MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
