Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments and manage outbound deliveries.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage documentation, including packing slips and shipping manifests, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be willing to obtain if not currently certified).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
