Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS systems
- Manage inbound/outbound stock movements with barcode scanning technology
- Generate accurate inventory reports for management review
- Maintain organized storage systems following FIFO protocols
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize stock levels
- Conduct quality inspections on received goods
- Train junior staff on inventory procedures
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and barcode scanners
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with ERP systems
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards
