Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in ERP systems
- Maintain accurate digital records of all warehouse stock movements
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to update inventory in real-time
- Generate monthly inventory reports for management review
- Implement cycle counting procedures for high-value items
- Collaborate with procurement on stock replenishment strategies
- Train staff on inventory management best practices
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in inventory software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of supply chain logistics principles
