Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits using barcode scanning systems
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records in WMS software (SAP experience preferred)
- Process stock adjustments, returns, and transfers with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with purchasing and shipping teams to resolve inventory discrepancies
- Generate monthly inventory reports for management review
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation protocols
- Train staff on inventory management best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Experience with barcode scanning systems
