Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain real-time inventory records in ERP software with 99%+ accuracy
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to document all product movements
- Generate weekly/monthly inventory reports for management analysis
- Implement cycle counting procedures to ensure perpetual inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized storage zones
- Train new staff on inventory procedures and system usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Forklift certification a strong plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven data accuracy
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Clear background check and drug screen required
