Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical counts of stock and verify quantities against system records to ensure accuracy.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and databases.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies, logging all data correctly.
- Assist in the organization and layout of the warehouse to optimize workflow and storage space.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories as required.
- Communicate inventory shortages or damaged goods to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).
