Responsibilities
- Conduct Accurate Audits: Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock levels match system records with 99% accuracy.
- Manage Documentation: Maintain accurate digital and physical logs of all inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Operate Scanning Equipment: Utilize handheld scanners and barcode readers to track product location and quantity efficiently.
- Coordinate with Teams: Communicate discrepancies or missing items to the warehouse supervisor and logistics team immediately.
- Stock Organization: Assist in organizing storage areas to maximize space utilization and ensure safe handling of goods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock expiration dates and assist in the management of perishable goods or specialized inventory.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
