Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against packing lists.
- Perform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Tag, label, and organize stock in the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval and storage.
- Update and maintain inventory management software and spreadsheets with current stock levels.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate inventory shortages or damaged goods to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required for the entry-level role.
