Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Maintain precise digital records of all inventory movements using our ERP systems.
- Identify, report, and process discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Assist in the organization and layout of the warehouse to optimize storage efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Keep the stockroom organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior warehouse or inventory experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Valid Driver’s License (optional but preferred for inter-departmental travel).
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
