Job Summary
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring data integrity across our warehouse systems. You will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, working closely with the warehouse team to streamline processes and reduce errors.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and spreadsheets.
- Reconcile physical stock against system data and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, tagging items, and logging them into the inventory database.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and ensuring proper storage locations for all products.
- Generate weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot data errors quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
