Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspecting: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities and condition of goods.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual physical inventories with high precision.
- Data Entry: Update and maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system and warehouse management software.
- Stock Organization: Locate, retrieve, and stock merchandise in designated areas to optimize workflow and accessibility.
- Reporting: Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and cleanliness checks on inventory tracking equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and inventory management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details and ensure data integrity.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
