As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly. We value accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Update inventory management systems (ERP) with real-time stock data.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
- Identify and report damaged or missing inventory items immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification (CDL) is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to the Detroit location.
