Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts, spot checks, and annual physical inventories to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Maintain and update digital and physical inventory records using ERP and barcode scanning systems.
- Assist in receiving, verifying, and documenting incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to organize stock placement and ensure efficient stock rotation.
- Identify discrepancies in inventory levels and investigate root causes to prevent future errors.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights on stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a similar warehousing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and formulas are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management software and barcode scanners.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
