Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and spreadsheets, conducting regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to safety standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies in stock levels or damaged goods immediately to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and storage areas to optimize workflow and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline the receiving and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and formulas are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
