Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS systems
- Manage stock levels across 5+ warehouse zones to prevent overstock/understock situations
- Process receiving, shipping, and transfer documentation with 99.9% accuracy
- Generate inventory reports for management and support annual physical audits
- Coordinate with procurement team to optimize reorder points and minimize carrying costs
- Train new staff on inventory protocols and safety procedures
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for inventory accuracy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years inventory control experience in warehouse/distribution settings
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse environment
