Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using barcode scanners
- Maintain real-time inventory tracking in ERP/WMS systems (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to document stock movements
- Generate inventory reports for management analysis and compliance audits
- Implement FIFO protocols and optimize warehouse storage layouts
- Collaborate with procurement teams to reorder stock based on demand forecasts
- Train staff on inventory procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and inventory software
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail (±0.1% accuracy)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Experience with RFID/barcode technology and automated systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
