Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management software to log incoming and outgoing goods.
- Reconcile physical inventory against system records and investigate discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse floor to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Prepare and label stock for storage or shipping using appropriate materials.
- Update inventory databases and spreadsheets with precise data entry.
- Communicate with team leads regarding inventory levels and supply needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
