Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move inventory throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper securing of goods.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
