Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments for damages, errors, or discrepancies against packing slips.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of customer orders, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Report any damaged equipment or hazardous conditions immediately to the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus (training available if not certified).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
