Responsibilities
- Efficiently move materials and products within warehouse facilities using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain organized storage systems and implement FIFO inventory protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Support inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in cold temperatures and variable weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid Alaska driver's license preferred
