Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, sort, and distribute materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain organized inventory records and conduct cycle counts with RF scanners
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to OSHA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to management
- Support warehouse cleanliness and 5S methodology implementation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in material handling or logistics
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic math abilities for inventory reconciliation
