Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, sort, and store materials using manual and powered equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and documentation
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Prepare shipments for loading/unloading and maintain organized staging areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work in cold environments and variable temperatures
- Reliable transportation to Anchorage industrial area
