Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment to customers, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Material Movement: Operate material handling equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks) safely to move goods within the facility and loading docks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory counts, damages, and shortages using warehouse management software.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Shipment Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipping, ensuring they are stable, labeled correctly, and loaded onto transport vehicles efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and processing orders.
- Equipment Operation: Basic knowledge of forklift operations is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
