Job Overview:
The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a safe working environment in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and label orders accurately to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory management processes.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate loading docks and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Commitment to strict safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable to specific shift).
