Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, count, and record inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against bills of lading.
- Packaging: Prepare products for shipment using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS).
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including occasional overtime during peak seasons.
