Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders, recording quantities accurately.
- Picking and Packing: Select, pack, and label orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Stock Organization: Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize workflow and retrieval times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Equipment Skills: Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
