As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are moved efficiently and accurately from our docks to our customers' doors.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Package and label items for shipment, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Operate scanning devices and warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory and counting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
