Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists.
- Stock inventory and maintain organized storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Pack, label, and prepare products for timely shipping and delivery.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanners.
