Responsibilities
- Load, Unload, and Transport: Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems (equipment provided).
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing and storing inventory in designated zones to ensure easy retrieval.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, defects, and accuracy before processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Record Keeping: Document and log all inventory movements and handling activities using warehouse management software.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and operational goals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on provided material handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Background: Pass a background check and drug screening.
