Key Responsibilities:
Manage the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the facility. You will utilize state-of-the-art inventory management systems to ensure real-time data accuracy. This role requires a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and a strong commitment to workplace safety protocols. Experience with inventory software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels in real-time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in organizing warehouse storage spaces to maximize efficiency and retrieval speed.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team to resolve inventory discrepancies and scheduling conflicts.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist in annual physical inventory audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in logistics preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with inventory management software.
- Physical stamina required to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
