Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery for daily operations.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate placement of goods in the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload freight trucks utilizing industrial equipment, ensuring cargo security and timely processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movements, daily logs, and inventory reports using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure operational flow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Equipment: Ability to operate forklifts (Class 3 or higher) is a plus; if not certified, we offer paid training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills in English.
- Reliability: Must be available for shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
