Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety inspections on provided equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Inventory Accuracy: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track stock levels and update digital records in real-time.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping with speed and precision to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Site Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Documentation: Verify shipments and maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing materials.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not strictly required.
- Equipment Handling: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a strong plus; however, we provide on-site training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing paperwork.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Reliability: Must be available for full-time hours and pass a background check and drug screen.
