What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring targets are met on time and within budget.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
- Prepare daily reports on productivity, staff performance, and inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
