Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receive and inspect incoming stock, verifying quantities and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize stock in warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not already certified.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
