Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure product rotation.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, preparing them for distribution.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists and RFID scans, using warehouse management systems.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable; on-the-job training may be available.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
