The Role:
In this dynamic warehouse environment, you will be responsible for managing inventory, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring our distribution standards are met. We utilize the latest technology to support our staff, creating a streamlined and modern working atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize inventory flow.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and stock locations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve inventory discrepancies and workflow bottlenecks.
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but we offer training for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license (optional, depending on specific duties).
