Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Organize, stack, and secure merchandise in the warehouse according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or defective equipment immediately.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping and distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required or willingness to obtain).
- Basic math skills and ability to read labels, orders, and inventory reports.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
